Volunteer Management Training Series

This six-part series is designed for professionals new to the field of volunteer management. 

Do you have the skills, knowledge and attitude to be a successful volunteer manager?

This workshop will help you as a new volunteer management professional to understand the trends and issues concerning volunteer service. You will learn to develop high impact volunteer jobs, create a strategic recruitment plan and place, manage and recognize volunteers more effectively.

Volunteer Mid-South is pleased to present The Volunteer Management Training Series, a six-part series developed by the Points of Light Institute.

Training Series begins in June 2010. 

Sessions include:

• Understanding Volunteers

• Planning a Volunteer Program

• Recruiting Volunteers

• Placing & Training Volunteers

• Supervising Volunteers

• Evaluating a Volunteer Program

Sessions are from 9:00 am - 12:00 p.m. at Shelby Farms. Each session is $50 -- Or sign up for the entire series for only $200!
