Board Connection

Linking Leaders and Nonprofits

Board Connection is a service offered by Volunteer Mid-South designed to strengthen nonprofit organizations by developing the effectiveness of their Boards of Directors and to support community-minded individuals and corporations to find meaningful avenues of service. Program features include:

  • Board development training to help organizations carry out their missions

  • Recruitment and training of individuals interested in nonprofit board service

  • Ongoing skill development and training opportunities for individuals and organizations

Serving on a nonprofit board can be tremendously rewarding.  Nonprofit organizations are looking for talented, committed individuals to join their boards.  Board service requires consideration of both personal goals and an organization’s needs.  Board Connection assists potential leaders in discovering the interests and skills they can contribute, and helps organizations identify the expertise and the people they need.
