Description:
Enjoy the natural wonders of Lichterman Nature Center's center city forest and help keep the trails accessible at the same time! Help remove weeds, alien privet plants and debris from sections of pebbled trails that wind through three miles of wooded wonderland. Bring a picnic and enjoy Lichterman's many wild spaces after the project! Volunteers should wear tennis shoes or hiking boots, long pants and long-sleeve shirts. We also encourage volunteers to bring their own work gloves, water, and even a snack if you'd like. The necessary tools will be provided. Volunteers ages 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
